In addition to her work in data, Shekela has a background in journalism, contributing to editorial content and storytelling. Before transitioning into data and marketing, she was a teacher, educating diverse student populations across various subjects. Shekela holds a bachelor’s degree in education from McGill University and has a background in communications from Dawson College.
